I wanted to compose a piece of music that was busy rhythmically, using a syncopated drum beat, and using Bongos and Congas to help it drift from off-beat to on-beat in one rhythmic flow.

Once this was created, I found the melody quite an easy task, using synthesized instruments of the world, from a Peruvian Nose Flute, to Pan Pipes, and even the use of a Glockenspiel. They all worked perfectly, but still no title.The more i listened to it, the feeling of rain came to light from the cascading sounds of the synths, to the dripping effect created by the Pan Pipes, and violins played in pizzicato. And there I had it - RAIN.
