I am the sole creator, performer, and vocalist behind this single.

While I typically write songs for other artists, I've long harboured a desire to sing my own compositions.

Though my vocal abilities may not be particularly robust, I've discovered that certain songs, crafted in specific styles or keys, resonate with my voice.

In 1995, I began exploring themes surrounding the state of our planet and humanity's interactions. By February 2000, I had composed music that perfectly complemented these lyrics. During the summer of 2000, I enlisted the help of my friend Danny Tavoleri to record my vocals at his home studio, thus bringing the song to life.

This song serves as a poignant call to action, addressing the pressing issues of environmental degradation and societal discord. The lyrics vividly depict the consequences of human negligence, urging listeners to awaken to the urgency of the moment. Through a blend of introspective verses and impassioned choruses, the song underscores the need for collective responsibility and empathy. Its emotive delivery resonates deeply, compelling listeners to contemplate the future and strive for positive change in a world veering towards chaos.

Oddly enough, the themes addressed in this song mirror the current state of affairs, yet little action has been taken to address them. I strongly believe that now, more than ever, this song serves as a poignant reminder of the urgency of the situation. Maybe, just maybe,, it will prompt us all to pay attention and take action to rectify the mess we've selfishly found ourselves in.
